The game is a well-balanced strategic game of offense and defense where two people alternately put their stones, which are also of two different colors on a grid in such a manner 5 stones of the same color would be lined up either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. What is different about this game though, compared to other games of its kind has to do with the fact that in it you are also able to capture the stones of your enemy which is once again a layer unique to your strategic planning. Captures are reached when you surrounded two of your opponents stones on both sides with your stones on a straight path or line. You can not capture one stone but only pairs and this is a rule that makes the player even more careful in placing their stone on the board. The victory is possible in two ways: to create straight line of 5 stones or to take 5 pairs of the opponent stones. Such a condition of a win generates tension all the time and compels players to maintain some kind of a balance between the imperative of establishing a line that leads to their own win and blocking their opponent to do the same. Each move in the game requires planning, insight into space and clever choices about plans that are going to take place next, and as such is an exciting game to anyone with a liking towards competitive and strategic board games.
